What sort of person do you coach?
Top Executives, middle managements, those just starting out, students and everyone in-between. Most people need to develop their public speaking skills and we regularly work with a complete mix of people. Whatever level you are at in your career, you will be at home on our courses.
Which course would be best for me?
The right one! That depends on you, your experience, your training needs and so many other factors. Email and ask us to call you to discuss options.
How many attendees will there be on the course?
Never more than 8, normally no more than 6. We believe in giving people plenty of individual attention. Avoid courses where they just pack as many in as possible.
Do you do individual coaching?
One-to-one individual coaching is a popular option for a number of reasons. Senior managers with time constraints often require a more intensive coaching session than a public course allows. Individual sessions allow time for specific issues to be dealt with, as well as time for specific speeches to be edited, altered and practiced. Business Training Direct was proud to have its one-to-one coaching featured in the Times course watch on 3rd November 2005. Please arrange to speak with us to help you decide the best options.
Do you tailor the course to the needs of the individual, group or organisation?
Yes most certainly. With public courses there are core components that need to be in place, but then the course will evolve around the needs of the group. In-house courses can be completely edited, altered, adjusted and adapted to suit.
What other training courses do you offer?
We have various options relating to public speaking, Presentations, PowerPoint, Communication Skills, Interview Preparation, Stress management and reduction. Please call for further details.
How much does it cost?
It costs much less with us than our competitors! We cut out the middle man and offer the best value for money. We do not compromise on the quality of the training. We have the prices for the main courses here.

Where can I get my training?
Public courses are held in central London. In-house and one-to-one coaching can be anywhere in the UK or Europe.
What should I wear?
All our training courses are designed to be interactive, fun and relaxing. Feel free to wear comfortable clothing. However, also consider that if you only ever present in a more formal attire… maybe on a two day course, the second day should be more formally dressed. Either way the choice is entirely up to you.
What should I bring?
The determination to get the most out of the course! You may be asked to prepare in advance a brief presentation depending on the course.
When does the course start?
Public courses are normally 9.30 - 5.00 with refreshments and lunch provided. In-house and individual training courses are by negotiation. On two day courses there is sometimes an optional additional hour at the end of day one to cover specific issues that candidates might have. On all courses the trainer will not be rushing off and therefore will be available to answer any questions you might have.
How do I get to the venue?
Our central London venues have been selected to be very accessible via public transport. They are all near all tube lines and can be easily travelled to from any Main line station.
Will you also conduct these workshops offsite or in other cities?
So far the furthest we have trained is Barcelona, Vienna and other European countries. We are happy to work anywhere in the UK at your venue, or we can arrange a venue in most towns. The same applies to destinations in Europe.
Do you tailor courses?
Yes most certainly. With public courses there are core components that need to be in place, but then the course will evolve around the needs of the group. In-house courses can be completely edited, altered, adjusted and adapted to suit.
